The 48" number kit stencil is a large industry standard kit, making it a must-have addition to any professional striper’s or contractor’s collection. The bold numbers are striped, and the elongated length makes them easy to read from a distance. These larger numbers are typically used on roads and streets, and can be used to mark speed limits on the pavement or other important information to drivers. These meet Federal specs and are designed to make a bold impact against the ground. The kit comes in 12 pieces which include the numbers 0 through 9 as well as two blank pieces. Each piece is made in the USA and comes with a warranty that guarantees the product to be free of any impediments or defects.
The measurements and specifications of each stencil comply with industry standards and are designed for use in larger areas, such as streets with speeding traffic. Each number measures 48" high and 16" wide when painted, with the exception of the number 1, which has a width of 4". The material itself measures 56" high by 24" wide, allowing several inches of space on all sides for overspray.
Select a material grade for the make of your large numbered stencils. If you’re interested in something that will last a long time and withstand many uses, the .080 ALU or the ?" PRO-Grade LDPE are the most affordable options. These are highly durable grades, allowing you to reuse the product thousands of times over several years before it ever shows any signs of wear or tear. If you’re interested in something lighter, the 1/16" LDPE is a light-duty option. It is still durable but it is also flexible for custom work. The .030" HIPS is the lightest option, offering an ultra flexible stencil for a one-time job.
