A new and improved design in the industry, the 96" FHWA/DOT turn arrow stencil is a great addition to any serious contractor’s collection. The turn arrow offers a large and sleek size with gaps between each shape that can be easily seen by oncoming traffic or drivers from a distance. The arrow is modified to meet Federal standards while providing improved visibility and longevity for all passersby. This arrow shape meets all standards for publicly accessible highways and roads, offering flexibility to any type of contracting project. This stencil is crafted in the USA and offers a warranty that guarantees that it will be free of any impediments or defects that could hinder it from use.
The measurements and specifications of this stencil comply with industry standards and are made large to be easily visible by onlookers. By using a pavement approved paint, the stencil can last even longer before wearing out. When painted, the stencil measures 72" in width by 96" in height, with a bold tail stroke of 12". The material itself measures 43" wide by 80" high at the head, and 48" wide by 77" high at the turn tail.
There are four material grade options available for the make of your stencil. For a durable and long lasting effect, invest in the .080 ALU. This rigid 5052 aluminum is indestructible, allowing unlimited reuses of the stencil. This grade will never wear or tear, and can withstand preformed or thermoplastic extruding for added boldness and longevity when painted. Another popular option is the ?" PRO-Grade LDPE, which is the most commonly used material grade for this type of stencil. This LDPE is the industry standard, offering a thickness that grants durability and allows thousands of reuses over several years before ever showing any signs of wear or tear. For a custom or one-time project, the 1/16" LDPE and the .030" HIPS are available as cost effective options. The 1/16" LDPE is just as durable as its ?" PRO-Grade counterpart, but also offers thinness and flexibility for custom use. The .030" HIPS is an industry standard PVC grade that lays flat out of the box.
