For a sturdy and reliable stencil that is used in many public projects, invest in the 96" ONE stencil. This measures on the larger side of industry standards and is delivered in three easy to use stencils that can be applied swiftly and comfortably. Any serious contractor or striper will want to add this stencil to their collection, as it is one of the most used stencils for all Federally approved highways and roads. This stencil meets all FHWA and MUTCD specifications, and can be paired with other industry standard words such as “WAY", “ONLY", “ST", and more. This stencil is made in the USA and guarantees that it will be delivered free of any defects or impediments.
The measurements of this unique stencil can be adjusted to fit any length or specification needed for your particular project. It is designed to fit in any type of lane, street, parking lot, construction site, or warehouse. Each stencil allows a 4" overlap so that the letters can be spaced equally between each other. Although the sizes can be adjusted, the stencil typically measures 56" wide by 96" high when painted. The material of each stencil measures 24" wide, with a combined height of 104". The elongated length allows for easier visibility for oncoming drivers.
There are four material grade options for the make of your stencil. If you are invested in a long-term or heavy duty project, the thicker and more durable grades may be a cost effective option. The most popular and most commonly used grade is the ?" PRO-Grade LDPE, which offers durability, affordability, and flexibility during all projects. It can be reused thousands of times over several years before ever needing to be replaced. The .080 ALU is a thicker option, adding indestructibility and rigid durability to stencil use. This grade can also withstand thermoplastic extruding if your striping project requires it. There are two thinner material grades available if you only plan on using your stencil sparingly or for a custom project. The 1/16" LDPE is the counterpart to the PRO-Grade, but with half the durability. The .030" HIPS is a commonly used PVC material that lays flat for a custom fit.
